The guarantee of supply for the Tannins and Chips Units starts at the Forestry Unit. With responsible forest management, TANAC has approximately 23 thousand hectares of planted forests. The use of advanced technologies in the production of seedlings, genetic improvement research and agreements with universities and forestry entities allow us to follow the evolution of the sector, generating a significant increase in productivity and quality in TANAC’s forests.

With its management certified by the FSC® – Forest Stewardchip Council®, the Forestry Unit supplies certified raw material since its origin, with around 560 employees in planting, harvesting and livestock activities.
