A legacy of renewal and responsibility.

Purpose

Cycles are a part of TANAC’s history

“We want to be a leader in the use of renewable resources, providing innovative products to create business, empower people and have a positive impact on the world”.

We are beginning a new phase and we want you to join us in it.

Cycles are a part of TANAC’s history. That’s why we created an idea and a new brand and manifesto, in order to create a legacy of sustainability for people and the planet through our business model.

A Little

About Us

For over 70 years, TANAC has believed in a balance between using and preserving natural resources.

Based on using raw materials from renewable sources, the company which was created in 1948 has become the world leader in producing plant extracts and Black Wattle chips and pellets. It is now considered one of the thousand largest companies in Brazil, according to Valor Econômico and Exame magazines.

We are world renowned for sustainability and are considered the largest producer of Black Wattle trees in the world. Our work involves thousands of families in Rio Grande do Sul and we have planted more than 55 million trees.

TANAC’s products are sold in over 70 countries on every continent. We contribute to various industries and applications that affect daily life: shoes, cars, food, paper and renewable energy among others.

Over one thousand five hundred staff in our premises apply the basic principle of sustainable production every day. But any assessment of our growth would not be complete without including the economic and social development of our communities.

How serious we take this and the excellence we achieve is demonstrated by the environmental and quality certifications that we have been awarded.

For us, thinking about nature and people is the key to the future.

REPORTING CHANNEL

Tanac and Tanagro already have a consolidated system for communicating reports, situations and doubts about misconduct. The Whistleblowing Channel has a security system to keep it confidential and prevent the tracking of whistleblowers.

After the complaint has been analyzed by the Channel’s managers, the Ethics Committee receives the complaint to decide how it will be handled. If any member of the Committee is involved, they will not know about the complaint.

The handling of complaints is a structured process. It is necessary to verify the evidence of the situations reported, so your contribution of information is crucial for the best solutions to be taken.
