We support the economic and social development of our communities, by leasing land to encourage the cultivation of Black Wattle by farmers. As well as growing Black Wattle in our own forests, TANAC also invests in expanding the cultivation of Black Wattle in its communities through its Forestry Development Program involving partnerships with farmers by leasing land for the cultivation of new forest. As part of this program, Tanac provides the following benefits to land-owners:
- Monthly earnings;
- Long-term contracts;
- The opportunity to run it alongside livestock farming simultaneously;
- The state of the soil is better preserved when it is used to grow Black Wattle;
- All the nature around the property becomes more sustainable;
- Management and monitoring of the local fauna and flora.
