Seeking to make people aware of the importance of the Forest for maintenance of life on Earth, in Brazil it was established that on 07/17 is the Forest Protection Day.
 
As Biodiversity Sources, the trees are related to carbon dioxide absorption, soil protection, climate stability, besides supplying raw material for production of several products.
 
For TANAC, environmental preservation and the harmonious interaction between man and the environment are part of the daily routine of the company. TANAC manages an area of over 52.000 hectares, developing and respecting the most different ecosystems.
 
Aiming preservation and protection of the Atlantic Rainforest, TANAC/TANAGRO and WWF-Brazil have joined forces in a cooperation that will preserve biodiversity and promote sustainable use of the natural resources of the Atlantic Rainforest, through a Project Management, Conservation and Restoration of the forest in the Atlantic Rainforest biome. The project developed by both organizations will have three main lines of action: the first one, aimed at conservation and restoration of the Atlantic Rainforest; the second one aimed at the promotion of good practices and of the concept of New Generations of Forest Plantations (NGP); and lastly, the line that seeks to deepen market changes and new sustainable forest businesses.
 
Preservation and Environmental Responsibility are in the core of the company, that for over 68 years are building the future, the best future.
