TANAC is among the 100 Greatest Companies of Rio Grande do Sul

TANAC is among the 100 Greatest Companies of Rio Grande do Sul. According to the ranking "500 Greatest of the South – Great&Leaders", performed by the Magazine AMANHÃ and PwC Brasil, released last week. The evaluation method is based on financial statements of the companies referent to 2015 and accounting statements of groups. TANAC advanced 26 positions in relation to the previous year in the general Ranking.

 

TANAC is the world’s largest producer of Black Acacia vegetable extracts and woodchips and has its production focused on the leather industry, water supply and industrial effluent treatment, as well as mud conditioners for drilling oil wells, wood adhesives, among other applications. The industrial unit of wood pellets will soon be inaugurated and this will be the largest wood pellet factory in South America.

The ranking of “Great & Leaders – 500 Greatest of the South” uses as classification criteria an exclusive indicator, the Magnitude Considered Value (MCV), which results from the sum of Net Equity (with weight of 50%), Net Revenue (40%) and the Net Result (profit/loss), with weight of 10%.

In addition to the general ranking, which covers the entire region, it is also deployed in specific rankings to each of the three States: Paraná, Santa Catarina and South Region.
