National Day of Soil Conservation

13 of April of 2017

The day 15/04 was set as the “National Day of Soil Conservation” in Brazil and aims to alert of the importance of adequate management and preservation of this important natural resource.
TANAGRO/TANAC manage 52.000 hectares of land, of which around 24.000 hectares planted with Black Acacia. The forests are planted in minimum cultivation, with maintenance of native vegetation between the lines and during the rotation with the consortium with livestock. The symbiotic fixation with atmosphere Nitrogen and the good luminosity in the middle of the plantations allows this management with good economic and environmental results.
