National Day of Soil Conservation

National Day of Soil Conservation

15 of April of 2016

Aiming to bring awareness to people of the importance of the appropriate soil use, in honor of Dr. Hugh Hammond Bennett, the father of soil conservation in the United States, on 15/04 the “National Day of Soil Conservation” was instituted. This day proposes reflections about the good use of this natural resource. Soil is an essential component of Earth’s ecosystem and plays an essential role in the maintenance of life on Earth. TANAGRO manages over 52.000 hectares of land, and has a constant concern with the adoption of best practices and responsible soil management, and the entire cultivation process. Preservation and environmental responsibility are the core of the company, which for over 67 years has been building the future, the best future.
